CAP training session Wednesday

The Child Advocacy Program (CAP) of Chautauqua County will host a “Stewards of Children” training session designed to educate adults to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child abuse on Wednesday May 29 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the CAP office, 405 W. If you can’t make it Wednesday, consider asking CAP when you might attend another upcoming training.

Blood drive in Sheridan Wednesday

The Sheridan Memorial Field Association is sponsoring a Red Cross blood drive on Wednesday, May 29 from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Sheridan VFW Post #6390, 2556 Route 20, Sheridan. Walk-ins are welcome or call 1-800-733-2767 to schedule an appointment. Individuals who are at least 17 years old (16 with parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds, and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood.
