Principal speaker named for services
Lt. Christopher Wilson, a U.S. Navy veteran, is the principal speaker during Dunkirk Memorial Day services at Memorial Park.
Wilson answered a call to duty on Sept. 11, 2001 for the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.
While training for the Sea Partners Campaign, he worked harbor patrol and guard duty while completing qualifications. He is currently heading the Sea Partners Campaign, which received the meritorious team accommodation for leading the nation three years in a row. He is also vice president of the U.S. Navy League and chairman of the Eastern Sea Board.
He was awarded the Presidential Citation and Meritorious Flotilla Accommodation.
