St. John’s to hold turkey dinner
On Saturday, June 15, St. John’s United Church will hold a turkey dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The meal will feature turkey with all the trimmings and homemade pie. Tickets are $7.50 presale or $8 at the door. Call 366-0710 for tickets and reservations. St. John’s Church is located on Central Avenue in Dunkirk.
Church plans Strawberry Social
PORTLAND – The Portland Congregational Church will hold its annual Strawberry Social on June 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. or until sold out. The dinner includes beef on weck, salad, beans, and strawberry shortcake or strawberries and ice cream. Take-out dinners are available, and the facility is handicapped accessible.
Vacation Bible School set for June
St. Paul Lutheran Church (334 Temple St. in Fredonia) will have Vacation Bible School June 24-28 from 9-11:30 a.m. It is free for children in grades pre-k through four. Call 672-6731 to register/leave a message.
Westfield church starts summer hours
WESTFIELD – The First United Methodist Church of Westfield has started its summer hours. They are as follows:
- Praise service at 8:30 a.m.
- Worship service at 10 a.m.
- Coffee fellowship at 11 a.m.
This is the schedule through Labor Day weekend.
