Perfect Pooch Dog Training expands to new location

BROCTON – Perfect Pooch Dog Training is proud to announce that classes will now be held at 64 Old Mill Road in Brocton. Owner Kristin Yonkers had been hosting classes out of Tail Waggers Boutique in Fredonia.

“It was an amazing opportunity and a wonderful example of local businesses coming together, I thank the staff at Tail Waggers for letting me host classes there for the past few years. With interest in agility and a higher demand for classes I needed to expand,” Yonkers said. “The new pooch-friendly facility features a large indoor space where dogs can comfortably learn new cues, tricks and techniques. The space also goes to an outdoor area where dogs can master their behaviors around distractions.”

Perfect Pooch Dog Training uses positive training methods and offers classes for all stages of life and ability. AKC STAR Puppy offers the best curriculum to start puppies on the right paw, uniquely offering strategies to make the most out of the first critical learning periods in a puppy’s life. Basic Obedience is for the puppy at heart adult dogs that need to learn basic cues like sit, stay, come and overcoming behaviors like barking and jumping. Social Skills is aimed for dogs that are pretty good with commands that just need more exposure to distractions like other people and dogs. Agility Fun is for high-energy learners and dogs that want to further training. The class introduces agility obstacles like the weave poll, A-frame and hoops. And for dogs that aim for being a therapy dog or simply want to achieve greatness the Canine Good Citizen Prep class is offered as well as testing. The new facility provides a great area for private classes too.

Yonkers is an Animal Behavior College certified dog trainer and approved mentor trainer and an AKC approved evaluator for the Canine Good Citizen and STAR. Puppy tests. Kristin has been training dogs officially since 2009. To sign up for classes visit
