Two arrested for selling drugs in Dunkirk

The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force arrested two city residents Tuesday in separate incidents for the sale of drugs within the city of Dunkirk.
Ashley M. Nicholson, 25, of East Sixth Street was charged with multiple counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. The STRDTF arrested Nicholson at the Chautauqua County Jail where she was already being held on unrelated charges. She was indicted by a secret Chautauqua County Grand Jury and it’s alleged she sold quantities of crack cocaine to task force agents. Nicholson was arraigned before Chautauqua County Court Judge John T. Ward and sent back to the Chautauqua County Jail.
In an unrelated incident, Marcus J. McCall, 24, of Deer Street was charged with multiple counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. At 8:19 p.m. Dunkirk Police located McCall and arrested him on an arrest warrant from a secret Chautauqua County Grand Jury. It is alleged that McCall has sold quantities of crack cocaine to agents of the task force on several occasions. McCall was taken to Dunkirk City Jail and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail pending arraignment before Judge Ward.
