HANOVER – Jeffrey Knoop, 19, of Forestville was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Friday. Troopers stopped Knoop’s vehicle for speeding on Prospect Road in the town of Hanover. Knoop was found to be in possession of a small baggie of marijuana and an electronic smoking device containing burnt marijuana residue after troopers smelled an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Knoop was released on appearance tickets for Hanover Town Court.

HANOVER – Steven M. Smith, 20, of Perrysburg was charged with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated and operating with a blood alcohol content of .08 or more on Friday. At 4:38 a.m. deputies responded to a one-car accident on Alleghany Road. It is alleged that Smith drove off the road into the ditch while intoxicated. He was released on an appearance ticket for Hanover Town Court.
Mathew Mulville, 24, of East Main Road, was charged with operating a motor vehicle outside of a license class and disorderly conduct on Wednesday.
