COI’s 2013 summer feeding program under way in area

Chautauqua Opportunities, Inc.’s (COI) Youth Services Program will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) for the 2013 summer season.

The United States Department of Agriculture program is administered through the New York State Department of Education. The program is an extension of the Free and Reduced School Lunch program and is designed to insure as many Chautauqua County youth as possible receive at least one healthy, balanced meal during the day throughout the summer months.

Meals will be provided based on eligibility to all children 18 years and under, or adults 19 and up with a physical or mental disability without charge. Meals have begun and will continue through Labor Day.
