North Collins Library fundraiser tonight features “In Jest”

NORTH COLLINS – Erie County Legislator John J. Mills announces that this year’s North Collins Hot Dog Roast Fundraiser will feature a performance by “In Jest.” The library’s Hot Dog Roast Fundraiser will be held from 4-7 p.m. tonight at the library, 2095 School St., North Collins.

“In Jest,” who will perform at 6 p.m. features Nels Ross and his comedy variety show showcasing incredible juggling and edge-of-your-seat stunts.

The event will also include a bake sale from 4 to 7 p.m.

“Last year was North Collins’ first Hot Dog Roast Fundraiser and it was a huge success. This year I am anticipating we’ll break last year’s record and raise even more for the library. Please plan to stop by, it will be a wonderful evening of great food, people and entertainment,” said Mills. “So far this year’s events in Collins and Boston were outstanding and I expect each of the libraries to do very well thanks to the support of the community.”

Sahlen’s hot dogs will be sold for $1 and Italian sausage for $2; both meals include a bottle of spring water. The events are held rain or shine.

Mills has been hosting Hot Dog Roast Fundraisers in his district for seven years with nearly $40,000 raised. Proceeds from the fundraiser directly benefit the host library, helping to support its mission of supplying quality programming and materials to patrons.
