HCA launches new website
The Healthy Community Alliance has recently created a new website and updated its Facebook page. The new website boasts navigational buttons that make finding information easy. There is a map and directions to the office, bios on HCA’s staff and board of directors, and descriptions of the many programs HCA offers.
Visitors to the site will find links to other sites and be able to view and download brochures and other materials. The new website makes it easier for visitors to access information on HCA programs including falls prevention for seniors, facilitated enrollment in health insurance, youth and parent counseling, nutrition and physical activity programs for kids and adults, and much more. HCA’s Facebook page features current and upcoming programs and other news items.
“Bringing the Alliance’s website and Facebook page up to speed is just one part of our commitment to the rural communities we serve. Giving children and families the resources they need to succeed and live well, helping them access health care services and informing about what they can do to prevent or manage chronic conditions are all important priorities for the Alliance,” Executive Director Sharon Mathe stated.
