Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jennings

Lynette Elise Kuhlman and Robert John Jennings were united in marriage on July 14, 2012 at 4 p.m. in a double ring and unity sand ceremony at Point Gratiot in Dunkirk. The Rev. Yvonne Fancher and former Town Justice Rollin Fancher, aunt and uncle of the bride, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Donna Kuhlman of Warren, Pa. and the late Carl A. Kuhlman. The groom is the son of Robert and Carol Jennings of Boydton, Va.

The bride was escorted by her mother and her brother, Brian Kuhlman. She wore a white chiffon Grecian-style dress with a watteau train and a beaded bodice. She carried a silk arrangement of purple lilies, white wisteria, roses, pearls and ivy that she designed and assembled herself. She also made her attendants’ bouquets.

The bride was attended by her sister-in-law, Faith Kuhlman of Dunkirk, who acted as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Amanda Bellows of Jacksonville, N.C., niece of the bride; and Deborah Dill of Manlius, N.Y., sister of the groom. Flower girls were Kira Kuhlman of Erie, Pa., and Norah Bellows of Jacksonville, great-nieces of the bride. The attendants wore summer dresses in tropical colors.

The groom was attended by best man and brother-in-law Raymond Dill of Manlius. Ushers included Brian Kuhlman of Dunkirk and Daniel Jennings of Wake Forest, N.C., brothers of the groom. Junior ushers were Ryan Dill of Manlius, nephew of the groom; and Braden and Nolan Gaffney of Jacksonville, great nephews of the bride. Ring bearers were Brett Kuhlman Jr. of Erie, great nephew of the bride; Mayor Behnke of Pompey, N.Y. and Jaiden Dardaris of Manlius, great nephews of the groom.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Northern Chautauqua Conservation Club in Dunkirk.

The bride is a 1983 graduate of Dunkirk High School and a 1991 graduate of Jamestown Business College. She is currently employed by Lowes in Warren as a department manager.

The groom is a 1985 graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School and a 1987 graduate of Jamestown Community College. He is a 2007 graduate of Houghton College. He is currently employed by United Refining Company in Warren, Pa. as the manager of internal audit.

The couple honeymooned in Morehead City, N.C. They returned to their home in Warren.
