The Dunkirk Historical Lighthouse and Veterans Park Museum along with the Dunkirk Historical Society are looking for vendors interested in participating during the Civil War re-enactment at the lighthouse grounds on the weekend of Aug. 17.

21 East Bookstore

to hold book sale Saturday

A book sale will be held at 21 East Bookstore on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Paperbacks are 50 cents; hardcovers are $1 unless otherwise marked. Shoppers should use the Washington Street entrance. Proceeds benefit the Literacy Volunteers of Chautauqua County.

Hanover Town Hall closed today

The Hanover Town Hall will be closed today and Friday in observance of the July 4th holiday.

Dayton Town Board meeting change

The Dayton Town Board will meet on the second Wednesday of the month. The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at the town hall, 9100 Route 62. The date change will continue until further notice.

County Planning Board to meet Tuesday

The Chautauqua County Planning Board’s monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Chautauqua County Gerace Office Building Complex, Room 331, at 3 North Erie Street in Mayville, New York.

Damon Reunion

The 57th Damon reunion will be held Saturday at Russell Joy Park in the lower pavilion.

The group will plan to eat at 1 p.m.
