Westfield Youth Wrestling Chicken BBQ Fundraiser

The Westfield Youth Wrestling program is having a chicken BBQ fundraiser at Moore Park – on the corner of Route 20 and Route 394 – in Westfield on Saturday, July 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. or until food is sold out.

Gowanda Softball Tournament set for July 13

The 17th Annual Gowanda Double Elimination Slow Pitch Softball Tournament has been rescheduled to Saturday, July 13.

The entry fee is $75 per team. Cash prizes and awards are available.

The theme for the evening was Red, White and Blue and Most Patriotic dressed was won by Judith Waterman and Nancy Phillips. Least Patriotic dressed was won by Sue Johnson and Kim Murphy. High team scratch was won by Sue Gotowka and Sue Hertlein, lowest putts was won by Vicki Westling and highest number of putts was won by Debbie Yerico.

Lewis Construction had the victory over Pavlock Construction 9-2 with Trent Lewis scoring six goals as well as Denza Fanara and Jackson Crowell scoring for the winning team. Aiden Testa and Kevin Harrington each scored a goal for Pavlock Construction.

Cow Trimmers defeated Schaffner Knight & Minnaugh P.C. 15-8. Emily Anderson scored seven goals, while Cameron Katilus scored six, and Hailey Anderson and Isaiah Sisson each scored one goal. Summer Cieplinski scored the eight goals for Schaffner Knight & Minnaugh P.C.
