Lupus Alliance plans new patient orientation meeting

The Lupus Alliance of Upstate New York will hold a New Patient Orientation meeting on July 10 at the Lupus Alliance Office, 3871 Harlem Road, Cheektowaga, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. All newly diagnosed lupus patients, their families and friends are welcome. there will be current literature available, as well as a video and time for questions. There is no charge for the program, but reservations are necessary. Call the Lupus Alliance at 835-7161.

Reiki Open House to be held

The Angels of Hope Healing and Learning Center in conjunction with Simply Skin Spa will host a Reiki Open House on Wednesday, July 10 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Simply Skin Spa, 10 Park Place in Fredonia. Come and experience the healing benefits of Reiki. Reiki is a non-invasive energy healing. Love donation accepted. All are welcome.

Ripley School Board to hold reorganizational meeting

The reorganizational meeting of the Ripley Central School Board of Education will be held on Thursday at 6:30 p.m., followed by a regular Board of Education meeting, in the distance learning room, of the Ripley Central School.

Dunkirk Town Board special meeting Tuesday

The town of Dunkirk will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9 at the town hall. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the proposed resolution to support Chautauqua County as the lead applicant to submit a grant application for the purpose of establishing a northern county regional water district. A workshop with zoning board members will follow the special meeting.

Lily Dale Assembly ice cream social, photo op

The Lily Dale Assembly will hold an ice cream social on Saturday, July 13 from noon to 5 p.m. in the Children’s Lyceum. Ice cream, sundaes, popcorn and lemonade will be available for purchase. There will also be a photo opportunity to take pictures with “Victorian Ladies and Gents” outside of the tent from 1 to 4 p.m. Guests should bring their own cameras.
