Woman scoots away with motorized cart

WESTFIELD – A Brocton woman has been charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property following an incident at Tops in Westfield. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with Westfield Police Department, charged Wendy M. Hallmark, 52, of Brocton after it was alleged that Hallmark stole a motorized scooter cart on July 11. Deputies located Hallmark the following day in possession of the scooter. Hallmark was released on an appearance ticket for Brocton Village Court.

RANDOLPH – Lindsey M. Pulliam, 23, of Cherry Creek was charged with petit larceny on July 9. It is alleged that Pulliam stole property from the Dollar General Store in Randolph just after 8 p.m. She was released on an appearance ticket for Randolph Town Court.

FREWSBURG – A traffic stop on West Main Street in the village of Frewsburg resulted in charges placed against three youth. Deputies stopped the vehicle for having an expired registration and found three males smoking marijuana in the vehicle at 3:34 a.m. An 18-year-old from Panama and 19-year-old from Lakewood were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. The driver, a 16-year-old from Ashville was found to be impaired and operating out of class after 9 p.m. The driver was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, unlawful possession of marijuana, unregistered vehicle and operating out of class. All three males were released on appearance tickets for Carroll Town Court.
