Brennan family holds reunion

The Brennan family reunion was held recently in Silver Creek. The descendants of Charles and Emma Brennan gathered at Steve and Lisa Brennan’s home. The celebration took place in their barn with close to 100 attendees. There was a buffet, water balloon toss, sack races, lawn games and a bonfire.

Additionally, the family was entertained by a local bluegrass band, Mountain Run and the clogging duo of Carol and Trevor Herm from Michigan. In the words of one of the guests, “It doesn’t get any more American than this!” Family members agreed that Emma and Charlie would be pleased.

Waite reunion to be held

Descendants of Thomas Waite will gather for the family reunion on Saturday, Aug. 3 at the Chautauqua County Firemen’s Grounds in Stockton. Family members are invited to celebrate another decade of life, love, and their heritage of music.

Attendees should bring dishes to pass, their own table services, and postage to cover the cost of the pavilion and postage. Lemonade and coffee will be provided, and there will be games for children.
