4-H members participate in fashion revue at the County Fair

4-H Clothing and Textiles Project members displayed handmade garments in Tuesday and Wednesday’s 4-H Fashion Revue and Mannequin Modeling. Articles of clothing ranging from pajama pants to sundresses were displayed by 4-H Project members.

Youth in the Clothing and Textiles Project learn a variety of sewing skills and techniques with an outstanding opportunity to develop mastery.

Tuesday’s Fashion Revue participants were: Abigail Bacon, Judith Bacon, Rachel Harper, Christopher King, Cheyanne Wolcott, Zachary Wolcott, Matthew Wolcott, Erma Jean Wolcott, Melinda Waag, Averil Dubois and Miranda Nickerson.

Wednesday’s Fashion Revue Participants were: Sarah Anderson, Emily Brown, Christopher King, Kelsie Jackson, Madeline Valone, Dominique Mienzer, Alyssa Graziano, Mackenzie Graziano, Rachel Comstock, Samuel Comstock, Elizabeth Johnson and Michael Johnson.

On Wednesday, commentator Kevin Gleason provided a brief description of 4-H member’s age, experience, club and features of the clothing items.

4-H members who participated in Mannequin Modeling were: Madeline Valone, Dominique Mienzer, Alyssa Graziano, Mackenzie Graziano, Rachel Comstock, Samuel Comstock, Elizabeth Johnson and Michael Johnson all of the Country Critters 4-H Club and Kelsie Jackson.
