4-H members give public presentations at the County Fair

4-H youth displayed their public speaking talents in the 4-H Building last week.

There were public presentations on a variety of topics. Thursday’s youth participants were: Michael Johnson, who showed how to make a variety of knots; Elizabeth Johnson, who demonstrated how to make duct tape bows; and then Tiffany Jager presented an interesting presentation on poisonous plants. The group was well-prepared and provided a nice event for the audience.

Public presentations are a valuable 4-H project that helps the youth develop public speaking skills and confidence. To join 4-H, call the office at 664-9502, ext 212.
