Baldwin family holds reunion

The sixth annual family reunion of descendants of the late Claude Baldwin took place at the family home on Lamberton Road in Fredonia on July 14. The theme this year was “Hillbillies.” Those who chose dressed accordingly. There were 25 family members in attendance.

The Delcamp family provided a large inflatable bounce castle for the children. It was very well-received. James Baldwin brought his four-wheeler again this year, which was also enjoyed by the children.

The adults gathered on the deck for socializing and a family meeting. New birth dates were collected by Elizabeth Baldwin to enter into the family Bible.

A theme for next year was not suggested, so family members are invited to come as they are. The date has been set for July 13, 2014 at the family residence.

Dinner included a buffet of pot-luck dishes, to accompany hamburgers and hotdogs grilled by Douglas Baldwin.

Out-of-town family members in attendance included Larry Baldwin and his wife and Mark Pegelow from Tennessee. Many family members attended from nearby areas.
