One injured in Stockton rollover crash

STOCKTON – A 32-year-old Hamburg resident was flown to an Erie County hospital after a rollover accident here Sunday afternoon.

According to the Chau-tauqua County Sheriff’s Office, around 2:10 p.m., a 34-year-old Hamburg man was pulling a camper trailer with his 1994 Chevy pickup truck on Hartfield-Stockton Road when the trailer started swaying while going down a hill. The driver, whose name was only given as Elliott, lost control of his vehicle and struck an earth embankment. The vehicle came to rest after rolling over.

A passenger, whose name was only given as Andrezejewski, was flown by Starflight for non-life threatening injuries.

The Stockton and Cas-sadaga fire departments assisted on the scene.
