Fredonia churches to present VBS Kingdom Rock

A summer Vacation Bible School event called “Kingdom Rock: Where kids stand strong for God” will be hosted at Christ Community Church in Fredonia next week.

Kingdom Rock runs Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to noon at 219 Berry Road, Fredonia. Registration is open at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

At Kingdom Rock, children participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into yummy treats, experience epic Bible adventures, and make things in Jolly Jester Crafts they’ll take home and play with. Plus, children will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called “God sightings.”

Each day concludes with Fanfare Finale – a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 11:40 a.m.

Children at Kingdom Rock will be invited to donate spare change. The money collected will be given to Operation Christmas Child.

Kingdom Rock: Where kids stand strong for God” is for children ages 2 to those leaving fifth grade.

For more information or to pre-register go to or call 673-1661 or 595-2945. Preregistration is not required.

Along with Christ Community Church, Kingdom Rock is co-sponsored by Fredonia First United Methodist Church and Christian Worship Center.
