Fredonia Farmers’ Market, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Church St., adjacent to Barker Commons in downtown Fredonia. This weekly market offers an abundance of locally grown and produced vegetables, fruits, herbs, meats, baked goods, maple syrup, honey, jams, jellies, artisan quality artwork and craft goods.

Cherry Creek Fire Auxiliary Rummage Sale, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Cherry Creek Fire Hall. Bag sale starts at noon. Proceeds benefit the Cherry Creek Fire Auxiliary. Donations of items can be brought to the Fire Hall the day of the sale.

Literacy Volunteers book sale, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., 21 E. Second St., Dunkirk. 21 East Bookstore will host a book sale with paperback books $0.50 and hardcovers $1. There will be some specially priced books. Come browse, take home some bargains and assist Literacy Volunteers. Patrons are asked to use the Washington Avenue entrance.

Tickets are $15 and may be purchased from the Dunkirk Free Library, P&G Foods, the Dunkirk Historical Museum, Henry’s Hair Salon, Midtown Realty and Time Pieces in Fredonia. All proceeds benefit the Dunkirk Historical Museum.
