Trinity Lutheran Church donates to Silver Creek Fire Department

During Silver Creek’s recent village-wide yard sale day, Trinity Lutheran Church held both a rummage sale and hotdog sale. The congregation originally planned to use all proceeds toward making the parish hall handicapped accessible. Seeing a need at the Silver Creek Volunteer Fire Department, the congregation decided to dedicate 50 percent of the proceeds to help the department purchase needed equipment.

Trinity is pleased to announce a check for $412 was recently sent to the fire department with gratitude for the outstanding work it performs for the community.

Trinity Lutheran Church is located at 15 Porter Ave., Silver Creek.
