There will be a meeting of the Thursday Doubles bowling League on Thusday, Aug. 29 at 8:30 p.m. at Lucky Lanes. All returning bowlers and any new bowlers are welcome to attend.

Lake Shore League

Brocton 22, Southwestern 14

Brocton was the first one on the board with a 75-yard scamper around the end by David Miller.

Southwestern matched that score as Brian Burns hit paydirt. Just prior to halftime, Brocton scored on a 60-yard run by Ronald Brown. Coming out of halftime, Brocton drove the ball down the field and scored on a 37-yard run by Miller, and the final score of the game was Alex Card on a 10-yard run.

Brocton’s defense was led by Jordan Krystofiak with 13 tackles and one fumble recovery. Riley Rivera and Leroy Lindstrom each had six tackles.

Southwestern’s defense was led by Andrew Bernard and Vinny Certo with eight tackles and a fumble recovery each. Drew Schilling also chipped in with seven tackles.
