Man charged after allegedly hitting camper with vehicle
CHAUTAUQUA – A Mayville man has been charged after using his vehicle to allegedly hit a camper Monday evening.
According to the Chau-tauqua County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and New York State Police responded to a fight on Plank Road. It is alleged that Ricky Zentz, 49, of Prospect Road drove his vehicle to a camp site and hit a camper with his vehicle while people were inside.
Zentz also allegedly tried to hit a person outside of the camper with his vehicle.
He was arraigned in Chautauqua Town Court where he was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree reckless endangerment. He was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail and will appear in court at a later date.
Randolph man arrested following domestic incident
RANDOLPH – Rich-ard Frink, 28, of Randolph was arrested on Aug. 30, after state police responded to the report of a domestic dispute.
Frink allegedly choked a female victim to the point of unconsciousness and stole her purse. Frink was arrested for criminal obstruction of breathing and petit larceny.
He was transported to the state police barracks in Jamestown and issued appearance tickets for the Town of Randolph Court.
Mayville man charged with forcible touching
CHAUTAUQUA – A Mayville man has been charged following an incident Monday.
According to the Chau-tauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Douglas A. Swan, 46, of Snug Harbor Road was charged with forcible touching just after 9 p.m. Swan allegedly forcibly touched a female by grabbing her buttocks and genital area.
He was issued an appearance ticket for Chautauqua Town Court.
Erie County Sheriff’s Office
CATTARAUGUS IND-IAN RESERVATION – Desmond A. Jimerson, 40, of the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, felony aggravated unlicensed operation, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and two outstanding warrants on Monday.
At 12:30 p.m. deputies responded to the report of an intoxicated driver and stopped Jimerson’s vehicle on Longhouse Road. Jimerson allegedly ran from his vehicle and was pursued on foot by police. Once in custody, Jimerson was found to be intoxicated and found to have warrants from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office and town of Evans.
He was arraigned in North Collins Town Court and sent to the Erie County Holding Center in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond.
Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office
HANOVER – Brittany Wall, 23, of Depew, Megan Williams, 21, of Depew, and C.J. Zaporowski, 22, of Elma, were charged with having an open container on Monday. At 6:50 p.m. deputies were on patrol in Sunset Bay and saw a large group to be in alleged possession of open containers. Deputies also found Williams to be allegedly urinating in public. Williams was additionally charged with disorderly conduct. All were released on appearance tickets for Hanover Town Court.
