WMH Auxiliary pie booth termed a success

WESTFIELD – The Westfield Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Board is very pleased with the success of this year’s pie booth at the annual Westfield Arts and Crafts Show.

The group would like to thank all the wonderful pie bakers in the area who contributed a total of 271 delicious pies. It would also like to thank all those who were unable to bake pies, but who made generous donations. The Auxiliary took in over $4,500 which will be used for future projects at WMH.

The Board is also grateful to all the WMH Auxiliary members who volunteered their time and talents to work at the Pie Booth during the two-day event.

And last, but not least, a special thank you goes out to the following community members and organizations: Helen Baron for her fruit donation, Better Baked Foods for the flour and sugar, Fireman’s Exempt for tent, tables and chairs, and St. Peter’s Church for the use of facilities. Without all the community support this event would not be such a success.
