A property damage accident occurred on Gardner Street on Monday. According to police, at 1:25 p.m., Jeffrey Majka, 44, of Gardner Street was backing up from 115 Gardner St. when he did not see Lisa Cuthbert, 36, also of Gardner Street, traveling westbound behind him. He struck Majka’s vehicle in the passenger’s side rear with her front passenger’s side, causing major damage to both vehicles. Cuthbert continued across Gardner Street and struck the Gardner Street Playground sign and a no parking sign. Police said Majka was solely at fault.
Dylan Sugden, 18, of Route 60 was charged with trespassing on Tuesday.
Christopher Colasanto, 18, of SUNY Fredonia’s Grissom Hall was charged with littering and unlawful possession of marijuana on Wednesday.

NORTH HARMONY – Jason J. Sprague, 23, of Dewittville was charged with speeding and unlawful possession of marijuana on Sunday.
At 1:43 a.m. deputies observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Route 394. During the traffic stop, deputies found an alleged odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A passenger, Dennis P. Gonzalez, 21, of Mayville was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after both were found in alleged possession of marijuana. Both were released on appearance tickets for North Harmony Town Court.
ELLERY – Josh A. Moore, 33, of Bemus Point was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment on Wednesday.
At 4:45 p.m. deputies responded to an altercation on Route 430. Moore had allegedly pushed and placed his hands around the neck of another person while the victim was holding a small child. Moore was arraigned in Chautauqua Town Court. He was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail and will appear in court at a later date.
