Dennis Parker to run for Perrysburg Town Supervisor
PERRYSBURG – Dennis K. Parker has announced his intention to run for Town Supervisor of Perrysburg.
Parker feels that he would serve the community in this position by raising awareness of the issues facing the town.
“I feel there needs to be more input from the public and more awareness of the issues facing our community. Sound decisions need to be made in proceeding with town issues,” he said.
Parker has attended Perrysburg Town Board meetings for several years. He would like to bring an air of professionalism to the board. He would also like to manage spending, as he feels spending has been out of control.
“I am an independent thinker but I can be part of a team,” Parker said. “I invite the public to ask questions and share opinions and concerns about the town while I conduct my campaign, and also to be actively involved with the future Town Board.”
Parker is a 31-year resident of Perrysburg in the hamlet of Versailles. He has raised five children and participated in the fire company as an officer and a member. He has served as president of the Versailles Community Association for two different terms. He is self-employed in the dairy equipment field.
Parker says he is always willing to lend a hand to the town and his neighbors. He helps with the placement of the flower containers and the hanging of the flags in the community.
“I respectfully ask for your vote on Sept. 10 and again on Nov. 5,” Parker said.
