Paschal J. “Pat” Borrello
SHERIDAN – Paschal J. “Pat” Borrello, 57, of Sheridan, NY, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 5, 2013, at his residence.
He was born in Silver Creek, NY, on August 5, 1956, the son of Anthony P. and the late Gloria (Schmidt) Borrello.
Pat was a graduate of Silver Creek Central School. He worked as a track foreman for Norfolk Southern Railroad until he became disabled.
Pat enjoyed music, was a self-taught guitar player, liked to play cards and was an avid sports fan, whose favorite NFL football team was the St. Louis Rams.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a son, Michael Borrello of Salisbury, NC; a brother, John (Mindy) Borrello of Forestville, NY; two sisters, Shari (Leonard Jr.) Szablewski of Sheridan, NY, and Barbara (Richard) Hoisington of Cassadaga, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Patsy and Minnie Borrello and his maternal grandparents John and Josephine Schmidt.
There will be no public visitation observed.
All are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Silver Creek, NY, on Wednesday, September 11, at 10 a.m., followed by a burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made in Pat’s name to the Sheridan Fire Department.
