Dunkirk Farmer and Artisan market closed for season
The Dunkirk Farmer and Artisan Market sponsored by the Dunkirk Community Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Chautauqua Community foundation, located in Memorial Park closed for the season on Sunday.
The market offered many locally grown produce, artisans and weekly activities to highlight the Chamber’s commitment to buying local, Agri-business and Dunkirk business development.
The market operated every Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Plans are under way to make the market and its farmers and artisans work together to make the market more attractive to local residents as well as visitors to the area.
The Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the sponsors, the farmers and artisans as well as the vendors and individuals and organizations that contributed to the market this past year. The Chamber would also like to extend a thank you to all the area residents who came down regularly in support of the local market.
