Affordable Care Act – What you need to know
JAMESTOWN – The Small Business Development Center at Jamestown Community College is presenting information to business owners on preparing for the Affordable Care Act. The presentation will answer questions such as:
Do you know what is currently required by Affordable Care Act?
Do you know the tax credits that are available to small businesses?
Do you understand how your business will be affected?
Would you like to learn from resources to help you navigate the Affordable Care Act?
Now that more information is available regarding the Affordable Care Act, find out how it will impact your business. Curt Anderson, Business Advisor (SBDC at JCC) and Nick Ferrara, Business Advisor (SBDC at JCC) will present information on how ACA will impact your business. The discussion will include tax credits, employer mandates, and the Small Business Health Options Program. Follow up discussions will be available with experts from the Small Business Development Center to help you with your specific questions.
The presentation is scheduled for Sept. 18 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the Carnahan Building on the JCC Campus. There is no fee but pre-registration is requested.
