Hott-Shots earn bid to championships

The Hott-Shot Junior Level 3 cheerleading team from Collage Performing Arts Center recently competed at the Universal Cheerleaders Association Eastern Regional Cheerleading camp and Regional qualifier held at the Pocono Mountains Trails End Cheerleading camp.

The team competed in the Camp Extreme Cheer division and placed first in their division for their performance that included tumbling, pyramids, stunts, tosses and dance. In addition the team entered the UCA Cheerleading championship competition and received first place in their All-Star division. This earned the team a bid to the UCA National Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Fla. In the UCA individual All-American competition Alizee’ Dziduch, Hannah Fetterick, Hannah Koning, Catie Roth and Emma Seiders earned All-American honors and received Gold medals for their efforts.

The team is coached by Kayleigh Hobbs, Corinne Rukavina and Marci Williams-Hadley. The team captains are Hannah Koning and Catie Roth. The team has performed at summer events and will perform at the upcoming Grape Festival Parade.
