CHAUTAUQUA – William E. Ostagen, 43, of Mayville, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt on Tuesday. Deputies received a report of a violation of an order of protection at a motel on Route 394.
Ostagen allegedly violated an order of protection by having contact with an individual. He was taken into custody and arraigned in Chautauqua Town Court.
He was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $500.
