Immaculata Academy celebrates 85th year

HAMBURG – Immaculata Academy faculty, staff, students, and friends marked the Academy’s 85th anniversary school year with Bishop Malone. A Mass celebrated by Bishop Malone assisted by Campus Minister, Deacon Robb Ciezki, and visiting deacon, Deacon Dennis Conroy, was held in the school auditorium. A reception and campus tour followed. Fr. Ryszard served as the Master of Ceremonies.

“We are grateful to Bishop Malone for joining us as we celebrate Immaculata Academy’s 85th anniversary. The Board of Trustees, administration, faculty and staff, are proud to have offered a Franciscan, Catholic education to thousands of young women over these 85 years and are excited to carry on Immaculata’s mission into the future,” said Sister. Paulette Tirone, FSSJ, President of Immaculata Academy.

Immaculata plans to continue the celebration with its next big event, the Mater Christi Gala, on Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. at Michael’s Banquet Facility.
