JCC will host
Jamestown Community College’s Jamestown Campus will host two basketball instructional shooting clinics in October.
The clinics, held from noon to 5 p.m. in the Physical Education Complex, will be conducted by JCC head men’s basketball coach Michael Cordovano with assistance from JCC players and coaches.
The Oct. 20 clinic is open to elementary and junior high boys and girls. High school boys and girls are invited to participate in a clinic on Oct. 27.
The registration fee is $25. Participants should pack a lunch or plan to purchase pizza and a drink at JCC.

Wax Cup Tournament
There will be a meeting Sunday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. at the Dunkirk Falcon Club for all golfers going to Southern Pines, N.C. to play in the Wax Cup Tournament.
Golf schedules, fees and travel arrangements will be finalized. If unable to attend, contact Dennis Gawronski at 366-2083.
Silver?Creek-Forestville football change
Saturday’s high school football game between Silver Creek-Forestville and Falconer will now be played at Silver Creek.
The game was originally slated to take place at Forestville
Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
Bills vs. Browns
Matt’s News is sponsoring a bus trip to the Buffalo Bills at Cleveland Browns game on Thursday, Oct. 3.
The cost is $110 per person, which includes a seat on the bus, food and beverages. The bus will depart the Fourth Ward Falcon Club at 3 p.m. sharp, and will return after the game.

Fredonia Sports Booster Club sets meeting
The Fredonia All Sports Booster Club will meet at 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, in room 600 at the Fredonia High School. All teachers, parents and coaches are encouraged to attend.

Wicked Glen 3, Lakeview Shock 2
Goals for Wicked Glen were scored by Joe Geerkin, Chad Carlson and Kerry Meyer. Assists were credited to Cody Williams, Chad Carlson (2), Paul Hickey and Steve Olson.
For Lakeview Shock, Joe Harris netted both goals. Tony Privitera (2), Chris Spellberg and Mike Korzeniewski had assists.

Ron Pachol, Mike Rosewicz netted two goals while Derek Sheridan and Ron Pachol each had one for Wicked Glen. Assists were credited to Jeff Jamieson (2) and Don Fadale. Gary Shain was in net for Wicked Glen.
Goals for Hennan’s were tallied by Jim Azzarella, Rob Strickler and Brian Denea (2). Assists for Heenan’s were given to Shawn Fadale, Lee Andollina and Jim Azzarella. Mike Barrett was between the pipes.
The Pick UPS 4, Roswell 1
Tim Zugger, Tyler May and Joe Furman each had a goal for The Pick UPS. Jon Marsilio (2), Joe Hallmark, Jason Rosseau and Garrett Wrap had assists. Dave Stefaniak was the winning goalie.
Ben Nickle scored the lone goal for Roswell off a feed from Adam Woelfle.
