Copier lease highlights short council agenda
The Dunkirk Common Council faces a short agenda when it meets Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in City Hall. Two resolutions and one communication from the public are all that have been pre-filed.
Council will be asked to set Halloween trick-or-treat hours from 4 to 8 p.m. in the city under Resolution 71-2013.
A copier lease agreement is the subject of 72-2013. Council will be asked to approve a lease at $336.86 per month for a copier for the city clerk’s office that includes high-volume scanning capabilities for more efficient document storage and recovery. The 63-month lease would be with Toshiba Business Solutions of Amherst.
Council’s Finance Committee will review the procurement resolution for the copier at its meeting today at 4:15 p.m. in City Hall.
The lone communication is from Dunkirk High School Principal Stephen O’Brien requesting the presence of three police officers Saturday from 7:45 to 11:15 p.m. for the homecoming dance.
