Fredonia Central School announced Community Education classes for fall
Fredonia Central School will be offering the following for the fall session of the Community Education Program. For questions or to register, call the Community Education Coordinator, Wendy Heslink, at 679-1581, ext. 2701. Checks for class fees should be made payable to Fredonia Central School Community Education, 425 E. Main St., Fredonia, NY 14063. All additional material fees are to be paid to the instructor, unless otherwise noted.
Walking the Halls of FCS, 4-8 p.m., main campus hallways, Monday through Friday, starting May 16. Fee: $20 for first-time walkers; $10 for walkers who registered in 2012-13. When participants register, additional materials will be distributed.
Stained Glass, Lin Finger, instructor. 6:30-9:30 p.m., High School Room 107, starts Tuesday. Will be four eight-week sessions offered throughout the school year. NOTE: There will be an extra fee for supplies. Must have a minimum of 12 participants to run the class. Registration fee: $30 to be paid the night of the first class.
Over 50 Men’s Basketball, Ron Siracuse, instructor. Wednesdays, 7:30-9:30 p.m. in the Middle School Gym, starting today. Fee: $3 per night per person.
Five-Hour Pre-Licensing Course, Mike Pauly, instructor. 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays, Oct. 6, Oct. 26, Nov. 9, Nov. 23, Dec. 14, Jan. 11, Jan. 25, Feb. 8, March 8, March 22, April 5, May 3, May 17 and June 7. High School Room 109. Registrants must bring their permit and a writing utensil to the class. Fee: $30. Participants must pre-register and pre-pay or they will not be permitted into the class. There is no adult co-ed volleyball and no over 40 basketball at this time. If you have a special talent/hobby and would be interested in teaching (dancing, cake decorating, cooking, etc.) a class for the winter session, please contact Wendy Heslink.
