Two charged in thefts from Hanover vehicles
HANOVER – Two Jackson Street residents have been charged in the theft of items from town vehicles.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies report Cody J. Cook, 20, and Ryan C. Cook, 17, have been charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property after officers conducted a search warrant of their residents. The two were found in possession of items that were recently stolen in vehicle larcenies.
Ryan Cook turned himself in while Cody Cook is currently in the Chautauqua County Jail on an unrelated charge.
Further charges are pending.
Dunkirk Police Department
Kim Kalfas, 25, of Doughty Street was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree harassment, resisting arrest and fourth-degree criminal mischief on Wednesday.
Booker LaBaron, 43, of Ruggles Street was charged with second-degree harassment on Thursday.
