Chairwoman Lois Franz presided.

Mary E. Seymour Memorial Library Board members, Kathy George and Trudy Coulcher, expressed appreciation to Association members for providing the refreshments for the very successful Open House at the Cassadaga Branch Library.

Library Director Carolyn Wenger reported she is holding pre-school story times every Friday. Hours are 10 to 11 a.m. at Cassadaga Branch Library and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Mary E. Seymour Memorial Library in Stockton. The “wish list” for the libraries includes: automated book checkout; washable throw pillows for the children’s room; puzzles and games; computer updates; shelves for outside display case; more signage; improved lighting and volunteers to help in the libraries.

The next meeting will be October 28 at 7 p.m. at the Cassadaga Branch Library, with Franz as hostess. New members are always welcome.
