Southwestern swims past DFSC

LAKEWOOD – The Dunkirk-Fredonia-Silver Creek girls swimming team fell to powerhouse Southwestern Thursday by a score of 122-64.

Deidra Osula and Riley Drummond were the lone first-place finishers for DFSC. Osula took first place in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 24.62 while Drummond won the 100 breaststroke in 1:13.97.

Katie Webster took second place in the 200 freestyle finishing in 2:11.83. Osula finished second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 55.89.

Four DFSC swimmers took third place. Drummond took third in the 200 IM (2:25.52), Mikayala Polowy finished third in the 500 free (6:08.56), Mikayla Reynolds came in third in the 100 backstroke (1:10.26) and Haley Zebraski managed a third-place finish in the 100 breaststroke (1:23.61).
