Razzer’s Jazzers to play at UU congregation in Jamestown
On Sunday, Oct, 27 at 7 PM the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Jamestown located at 1255 Prendergast Avenue, Jamestown will present a Dixie Land Jazz Music Salon featuring Razzer’s Jazzers.
The group for this performance is made up of four traditional jazz experts. Clarinetist Razz Rasmusson and trombonist Pete Pepke will be joined by Kim Childs on piano and Jim Sturdevant on drums.
Razz and Pete look forward to bringing these musicians together to re-create the feel and melodies of the ’20s and ’30s. Great Dixie songs of that era will bring back that feeling of fun and uplifting music. The tune list for the night will probably be improvised, along with the music.
This jazz salon is supported in part by a grant from the New York State Council for the arts. Admission is always free. To assure continuation of these programs, free will donations are encouraged.
