Her community involvement includes the Collins Draft Horse Club; Board of Directors, Gowanda Area Federal C.U.; Gowanda Chamber of Commerce; and Gowanda Recreation Commission
Co-owner of the Misty Ridge Carriage Services, LLC, she is running due to her interest in ensuring a solid future for Collins and its residents.
She brings to the position 12 years as councilwoman and 25 years business management experience, including responsibility for developing and maintaining a multi-million dollar facility budget.
She has served on the Supervisory Committee, Gowanda Area Federal Credit Union and Board of Directors, L.K. Painter Community Center.
She lists as top issues/challenges facing the town today maintaining services while limiting costs to taxpayers in times of rapidly rising costs of retirement, health insurance and fuel; plus the improvement and maintenance of town facilities.
Her goals, if elected, include town park improvements; containing costs without decreasing services, promoting cooperation among town employees, as well as town officials to accomplish goals.
“Collins has accomplished much during the past several years, including building the library, acquiring and improving the L.K. Painter Community Center, making progress at the new Town Park without incurring additional debt to the Town,” Clark said. “I would like to continue to be a part of the continuation of progress.”
