Downing Golf Course
Wednesday Travel League – Ed Tofil shot the low round of 70 at Downing Golf Course in Harborcreek, Pa. The start of play was postponed by a two-hour frost delay with conditions later reaching a balmy 44 degrees. Tofil’s victory was his 12th of the season, matching the single season record set by Kerry Murphy in 2005. Murphy and John Bongiovanni tied for second with 89 each. Tofil was low on the front with 37, followed by Pat Weaver with 42. Tofil was also low on the back with 42, followed by Bongiovanni and John Waterman with 43 each. Waterman was the B Flight winner and Doug Newman was the winner of the Commissioner’s Award.
Untied birdies were recorded by: A Flight- Tofil (Nos. 2, 3, 4, 14), Weaver (No.7) and Dave Franklin (No.11); B Flight – Bob Thompson (Nos. 2, 7), Angelo Leone (No. 4), Len Leszkowicz (No.6) and Waterman (No.13). Closest to the pin were Waterman (No. 5), Franklin (Nos. 8, 11) and Bongiovanni (No. 15).
Top point winners were Tofil (18), Franklin (13) and Waterman (8). Season points leaders: Tofil (613), Thompson (416), Franklin (399), Joe Michalski (388), Bongiovanni (356).

Lakeview Shock 3, Wicked Glen 0
Goals for Lakeview Shock were scored by Mike Korzeniewski, Keith Mages and Jeff Marsowicz. Mike Korzeniewski, Chris Spellberg, Dan Gornikiewicz and Joe Harris all recorded one assist each. Brian Lillie earned the shutout in goal for the Lakeview Shock.
Nate Williams took the loss in goal for Wicked Glen.
