Shults of Westfield salutes the heroes in its community
WESTFIELD – The Shults Auto Group launched its “Heroes” program earlier this year in an effort to strengthen its commitment to the communities in which it has dealerships, with donation objectives to retain a portion of each vehicle sold to support their local charities and organizations.
During the four-month program, each customer who purchased a vehicle was given a choice of which organization they would like to support, and their accumulated donations were then presented to the selected charities. As a result, 21 different organizations and charities, as selected by Shults dealerships, will share a portion of a substantial amount of donations.
Shults of Westfield and its customers have enjoyed participating in the Shults “Heroes” program. Westfield General Manager Dan Crandall presented a check in the amount of $500 to the Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation which was accepted by Rose Van Volkenburg, foundation president; and Patricia DiPalma, foundation development director.
“We have been committed to our communities – including the growth of our children, safety of our neighborhoods and the overall health and well being – for the past 40 years,” commented Tim Shults, owner of the Auto Group. “I would like to thank our many loyal customers and co-workers who worked together to support this most important community program.”
