Fredonia Steelers 2, Livingston County Blues 2 – The Steelers and the Blues played to a 2-2 tie at the Wilson Ice Arena at SUNY Geneseo.
Cooper Harris opened the scoring for the Steelers with his first goal of the season 1:55 into the first period.
The Blues tied the scored with just 6.9 seconds remaining in the first period while Ethan Brunner gave the Steelers the lead in the second period with a goal at the 6:50 mark. However, the Blues tied the score in the third period.
Michael Persch had an assist while Nick Novelli was in goal for the Steelers, who now stand at 3-5-2 in the league. They face Batavia on Saturday.
West Seneca Wings 1, Fredonia Steelers 0 – In a game played at Leisure Rinks in Hamburg, the Wings scored the only goal with 3:15 remaining in the third period.
Gabe Persch was in goal for the Steelers.
CCHA A League
BJ’s 4, Dom Polski 2 – Scoring for BJ’s were Tom Coughlan, Tom O’Conner Sr., Jay Burnett and Brian Wojcinski while assists went to Scott Wojcinski (two), Ron Friend and Mike Nelson. Greg Parker picked up the win between the pipes.
For Dom Polski, Byron Vanzile and Zach Sliwa found the back of the net while A.J. Riforgiat was in net.
CCHA C League
Couglan’s 6, Team 6 0 – Simon Pasnik had a pair of goals to help lead Coughlan’s to a 6-0 win over Team 6. Also scoring for Coughlan’s in the win were Sean Stamer, Steve Gromala, Lee Andolina and Bill Anderson. Gloria Andolina picked up the shutout in net.
Ken Shearer suffered the loss for Team 6.
