NCCF accepting applications for Environmental Grants Program

The Northern Chau-tauqua Community Founda-tion has announced the deadline for its Environ-mental Fund Program. The deadline for applications is Jan. 10.

The Environmental Fund, which gave its first awards in 1999, annually awards grants to fund a broad range of environmentally related educational activities, including awareness building events, hands-on educational experiences and stipends for internships and lectures.

The fund accepts applications and awards grants to organizations from all over northern Chautauqua Coun-ty. Priority is given to projects relating to Lake Erie and its watershed.

For more information, or to obtain an application, contact Eileen Dunn at 366-4892, or log on to the NCCF website at www.nccfoundation.org.

The Northern Chautau-qua Community Foundation was incorporated in 1986 as a tax-exempt charitable organization.

Since its establishment, the NCCF has distributed over $9.3 million into the community through its various grant programs. It is an organization inherently committed to furthering its mission to enrich the northern Chautauqua community and encourage local philanthropy.
