‘Glimmer of hope’ for hospital staff
Many appreciative staff members of Lake Shore Health Care Center would like to extend our utmost thanks to the community which supports saving the hospital.
We would especially like to express a very heartfelt thank you to the First Responders of Angola, Eden, Farnham, Gowanda, Hanover, Highland, Irving, Lake Erie Beach, Silver Creek and Sunset Bay. Along with many community members, the showing of support on Tuesday, Oct. 29 along the stretch of Routes 5 and 20 in front of the hospital was an amazing display of how much this hospital means to everyone! It was nothing short of brilliant and an incredible sight to behold.
Additionally, we would like to acknowledge the media and our politicians for their hard work shining a light on our predicament.
Last, but certainly not least, we would like to thank Tony Borello. Without Mr. Borello we would be disheartened through this 90-day countdown to possible closure. With Mr. Borello, we see a glimmer of hope.
Please keep good thoughts and wishes for a positive outcome, as well as continuing to show your support to keep Lake Shore Hospital open. We will continue to draw strength from this remarkable community!
