Hebert, Warren continue to climb up all-time lists

Fredonia State senior guard Becky Hebert is 10th in points per game in the weekly list of NCAA Division III women’s basketball statistics released Monday afternoon.

Hebert is averaging 23.4 points through the first seven games. That includes a season-high 30 points in the Blue Devils’ 85-61 win over New Paltz last Friday.

Hebert moved up two spots last week – into third place – on Fredonia State’s career scoring list with 1,230 points. She overtook Debbie Pike and Sarah Adkins on the list.

Hebert trails Cheryl Kindzia (1,370 points; 2004-08) and Shelly Giardini (1,251 points; 1991-95). In addition, Hebert’s 1,230 points ranks 20th among all active players in NCAA Division III.

Meanwhile, senior forward Jaimie Warren continues to climb up two Fredonia State career lists. She’s ninth in scoring (873 points), an advance of three spots since the start of the season, and sixth in rebounding (576 rebounds), up two spots prior to 2013-14.
