Gowanda student selling wreaths for charity

Gowanda Middle School sixth-grade student Jimmy Keller is working hard and plans to donate 100 percent of the money raised from selling wreaths to charity. The money goes to the Gowanda Food Pantry, Eden Cozy Quilts (free quilts to cancer patients), Gowanda Police Department (Christmas drive, anti-bullying programs). This is Jimmy’s third year creating and selling the wreaths with help from his sister Ally, Dixieland Tree Farm and Gullo’s Garden Center. His first year he raised $90, last year $310 and he has set a goal for $1,000 this year. A 12-inch wreath is $20 and the 18-inch wreath is $25. Both are decorated with real pinecones, holly berry and a big red bow. To order a wreath, text or call 912-2591.
