Cassadaga Key Club works with Blue Star Mothers

The Cassadaga Valley Key Club, led by advisors Cathy Smith and Karen Schrader, recently held a military drive at the school and collected hundreds of items for donation to troops serving overseas. The club ran the drive with the well-known Blue Star Mothers.

Blue Star Mothers, formed during WWII, is an organization of mothers whose children are serving or have served in our country’s armed forces.

The Key Club and the Blue Star Mothers feel it is important for the community to realize the sacrifice that our men and women in uniform make every single day to help protect United States citizens as we go about our daily routines.

The Key Club thanks both Jamestown Tops locations for donating to the drive.
