Christmas is ‘truly a celebration’

Editor, OBSERVER:

‘Ah, Christmas’

As I think of Christmas,

I think of a Christmas tree,

with all the lights –

and the tinsel shining bright.

I would like to think

that each bright thing,

like bells, balls and the star,

points to our heavenly stars.

As we look closely at the tree,

an angel we can see,

with wings outstretched

ready to give, and peace.

This is truly a celebration of Christmas.

A tree that is the celebration of God’s birth.

Waiting for you to enjoy –

the true meaning of Christmas.

We wait each year for Christmas.

When Christmas can be celebrated

all year around, ’tis true.

By following the golden rule.
